YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT I’M ANGRY.
Enough is enough.
The Radical Right is the ENEMY of the American Republic, and it intends to strangle our freedom and install itself in power permanently.
It is our SACRED DUTY to stop them.
The rogue, Federalist Society-run Supreme Court, however, has seriously overplayed its hand—and we will make them pay.
On reproductive rights, the American people STAND WITH US:
Fifty-nine percent of Americans disapprove of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and take away the federal protections of abortion rights, according to a new CBS News/YouGov reaction poll. Among women polled, 67% disapprove. [My emphasis]
Why it matters: The new polling upholds what surveys before the decision showed us — that the majority of Americans support Roe.
- 52% call the court's decision a "step backward" for America, 31% say it's a "step forward," and 17% say neither.
This is HUGE.
There has been a major reversal of the generic ballot polls as well, as we see in this outstanding story here on DKos:
NPR also found a notable uptick in people who generally say they would prefer to vote for a Democratic congressional candidate over a Republican one, or what analysts commonly refer to as the “generic ballot.” In the survey, 48% now say they are more likely to vote for a Democrat in the fall while 41% count themselves more likely to vote for a Republican. In April, Republicans led the survey’s generic ballot question poll 47% to 44%. Other polls have also found a shift toward Democrats in the generic ballot following the decision to overturn Roe.
