Photo Diary: A Pit Stop in Lynchburg VA

Lynchburg is one of my usual stops when I'm traveling up or down the east. There's a Walmart and a Cracker Barrel (right across the street from Jerry Falwell’s “Liberty University”) to overnight in, and a dead mall just up the road where I can get dinner and wifi. But it's been a few years now since I've been here, and the mall is no longer dead: it has a SeaQuest Aquarium now, and lots more stores. So I hung around for the afternoon.

Some photos from the SeaQuest. (The aquarium uses a bunch of goofy-looking colored lights to make it more exciting for the kids, and since they don’t let us use flash inside, I hadda deal with it the best I could.)

For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit. I am currently on my way to Pennsylvania.
